~~Parody of the Joe Millionaire Reality Show~~

Quinn, Jane, Jodie, Brittany, and Daria stood quietly in front of the butler; each one waiting and wondering who would be picked. Only one this time, the remaining four would be told to pack up and leave the estate as soon as the decision was made. A tall, handsome man stood ambiguously in the doorway. There were originally ten women vying for his affection, now with only half remaining, the man was very anxious. He had to choose only one? How could he?

Quinn was definitely the beauty of the bunch; all of that bouncy red hair swimming gently around her shoulders, covering her back where the slinky pink dress didn't. Her eyes enveloped him in a kind of misty pink champagne intoxication. She was only in it for the money, he knew from her approach and reactions on their dates, but with a body like that he could forgive her.

Jane, quirky Jane, with her devil may care attitude towards life, captured his interest on their first date when she made origami swans out of their dinner napkins and started a food fight with their sushi, claiming she was "setting them free." She stood there now smirking at him in her black leather skirt, red sequined top, and heels that made her legs look even longer. She was his wildcat.

Jodie stood beside Jane, an amalgam of statuesque, beauty, and brains. Her intelligence amazed him, and her refinement was so strong even a king would feel no shame at taking her for a bride. They had spent most of their dates hobnobbing with prominent politicians and discussing the state of the environment as well as concerns for the homeless and how to help society become a better place to live for everyone. Tonight she looked ravishing in her lemon chiffon gown which rippled to the floor. Her raven hair swept up in a beautiful French twist, a few tendrils framing her face.

Brittany, who normally could be found with her silky blonde hair up in pigtails, had let it down tonight. He actually liked it much better that way, and he intended to tell her that. She absently twirled her finger in a lock of hair as she smiled sweetly at him. Her gown revealed little, leaving a lot to his imagination, curving down her body in bold red, a color she wore very well. Her personality, however, contrasted the bold red color, with a sweet innocent type appeal. They had the most wonderful time walking hand in hand and enjoying picnics in the park. She even loved football, which to him was a definite plus.

Then, finally, there was Daria. What could he say about her? She was attractive in her own way, her chocolate brown hair always simply styled and her dark eyes revealing the many depths within them. Her gown was a stunning hunter green strapless, flowing down past her thighs and accentuating her small curvy bosom. He noticed she had chosen to still wear her army styled boots, which caused him to grin wide. Always sensible, he thought. He never understood heels anyways; why women would put themselves to all that torture just for a man was beyond him. He loved that she was so different, and proud to stand out. She had been honest with him from the start, explaining she was only here because Jane had thought she needed an adventure and how she didn't care about money or fame. He had asked her if she cared about romance and she had looked past him, as if at some point in her life she had, but she said nothing. She was a mystery to him, and he wanted to solve it.

He had thought this decision would be an easy one, but he had struggled with it all night. Just one...Just one....He found it extremely hard to bare the burden of this choice, this finality. How could he choose when each one had something he adored? He watched them with careful eyes as he approached with the last diamond necklace. He smiled as he walked by each one, watching how they smiled back, and trying to decide who the final necklace, and his heart, would belong to. Slowly he stopped, and held the necklace out to her. She began to cry and as tears rolled down her face she kissed him and he felt he had made the right decision. He loved her, and he hoped she loved him just as much. Time would tell, after all, it was a tv show first, a match made in front of an audience of millions. There was no telling for sure if her feelings would be genuine, but he sincerely hoped they were, for his sake. Millions at home began to react, some with joy, some disappointed, but all of them entertained.

Who did he choose? I'll leave that up to your imagination. With a decision like that weighing on my mind, I'd find it difficult to make the choice myself. hehehe.
