The Change

The world shifts and changes from day to day, hour to hour, minute to minute, second to second.

On that brilliant morning, sunshine gleaming, suddenly one stood stabbed, bleeding.

The fraternal twin stood watch hushed. Twas surely an eartly mistake.

It's blood flowed down and away held in unreality, as darkness rose towards heaven.

Then a knife came for the brother slicing through and driving the truth home.

The siblings fell, one then the other, as the witnesses wept and ran.

The sleeping giant no longer slumbered. Awakened it searched for one to blame.

The world shifts and changes from day to day, hour to hour, minute to minute,
second to second.
